We invite you to adopt-a-star!For $60, you will receive a presentation certificate dedicating the selected star to a nominated person or event, a star chart to show you where to find the star, some background information on the star’s constellation, and a pass to attend a show at the Stardome Observatory.

Stars selected are visible from New Zealand, and an official star catalogue name and/or number is cross-referenced on the presentation certificate you receive. The star selected and recorded on your certificate is unique to you. We allocate one certificate only to each star.
Your Adopt-a-Star pack contains:
- - A presentation certificate (suitable for framing) dedicating the selected
star to a nominated person or event.
- - A star chart showing where to find the star in the night sky.
- - Background information on the star's constellation.
- - One Adult Pass (or two Child Passes) to a planetarium show
at Stardome Observatory.
